This is one of my favorite Polish dishes. I have traveled to several places in Poland but I never tried Golabki there. Probably because the dish is traditionally and usually cooked during holiday time (Christmas or Easter) or for special events, just like Pinnekjøtt in Norway. I knew about this dish when a Polish invited me to try this dish here in Oslo and I could not help falling in love with the dish. The delicious taste of the soft cabbage wrap, the stuffed meat and rice mixture and creamy tomato sauce combined together after being cooked for about an hour make your mouth completely satisfied. It pampers your mind telling you to forget about the long cooking time…. Hmm yummy!!! Wanna try to cook it for today?
